It all started back in 1998 — when Shania Twain, Will Smith and Usher were topping the charts — and Cactus Jack’s opened its doors for the very first time in Doncaster. Since then, we’ve been serving up sizzling grills, vibrant dishes, and a warm, friendly atmosphere that’s made us a local favourite.
Whether you’re gathering the family for a night out, tucking into cheesy nachos with friends, or celebrating something special over fajitas, our kitchen is all about good food, good vibes, and great memories.

At Cactus Jacks, we are lucky enough to have had the same brilliant Head Chef Bobby Kawa for an incredible 17 years. Our hand-picked team of skilled chefs contribute their expertise, infusing each plate with passion and precision. To complement your dining experience, our friendly bartending and waitstaff create a seamless, memorable and fun dining atmosphere.
Our restaurant is steeped in proud history and family tradition. Cactus Jacks has been an integral part of our family for years. Previously nurtured by owners David and Lorna, this legacy has now been passed down to nephew Paul. As the current owner, Paul carries forward this cherished heritage with pride, continuing the Cactus Jacks legacy of great food in a fun dining environment.
Our SUPPLIERS
Only the best will do for Cactus Jacks! For our meat and vegetables, we partnered with the village butcher, Paul Bradshaw, known for sourcing locally and excellent quality. When it comes to American and Mexican food essentials, we’ve proudly collaborated with Funnybones, our main importer, for over 25 years. Their expertise ensures authenticity in every bite, bringing the vibrant flavours of our Tex-Mex cuisine to life.
